Charlie Munger has been Warren Buffett’s right-hand man for decades. He is the vice-chairman of Berkshire Hathaway. Munger is known for his witty quotes and his fascinating stories. Like Buffet, Charlie Munger was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He worked at Buffett & Son, a grocery store owned by Warren Buffett’s grandfather, in his teenage years. He dropped out of college at the University of Michigan to serve in the US Army. He later attended Caltech and Harvard Law. After getting his law degree from Harvard, he practiced law for several years in California.
Munger ran his own investment partnership from 1962 to 1975. He closed his investment partnership in 1975 and joined Berkshire Hathaway a few years later.
